My thoughts:

WOW…Just WOW!

Lisa has created a wonderful world of drama, suspense and romance starting with the first book of the Zodius series, The Legend of Michael: Sin and Satisfaction.

It took me a few days to read this book because of life’s everyday happenings making me stop. Otherwise I would have finished it in one sitting.

I love the way this book made me feel. My emotions ranged from feeling Cassandra’s trepidation, happiness, wonder and love, to her feelings of being deceived, abandoned, of sadness and heartbreak. Then, there were Michaels feelings of hope, injustice, worry, possessiveness, and love. His need to do the right thing, no matter what it takes, except, any harm coming to Cassandra.

There are so many great characters in this book, Cassandra, Michael, Caleb, Sterling, Kelly, all good guys. Even the bad guys, Adam, Lucian, Tad, Powell, Ava and others had me in a hold.

This is a must keep read for me and I can hardly wait for the next book to come out.

Bound By Blood, an Ebook by Cynthia Eden
http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/51513

It’s an Immortal War…

Vampires and werewolves have been blood enemies for centuries, but now a new threat is rising...demons are escaping from hell and those demons are intent on wiping out both the vamps and the werewolves.

In order to stop the demons, pureblood vampire princess Morgan LaBeaux agrees to the treaty offered by werewolf alpha Jace Vaughn. She'll mate with him, share her blood with him...and in return, the wolves will aid the vampires in this battle.

But Morgan doesn’t realize just how dangerous the wolves can truly be. Jace has been waiting years to claim her. He’s set a trap for his princess, and now that he has her, Jace doesn’t plan to let her go. He’ll send the demons back to hell, and he’ll keep his vampiress—forever.

The blood binds all.

My Thoughts:

Shape-shifter Jace Vaughn and Vampire Princess Morgan LaBeaux must work together to stop the Demons that have been unleashed to destroy them all.
What happens when a vamp and a werewolf, who are suppose to be enemies come together for the good of all their kind? You get a very passionate explosion. Cynthia Eden brings these two paranormal creatures together with the wonders of love, the heartbreak of death and the anger of betrayal in Bound by Blood. From the moment Morgan walks into Howling Moon bar I was a goner. I couldn’t stop reading until I got to the end and then I wished for more.

My  thoughts:
Life is good for Sophie Duncan. She had a great career, the love of a fantastic man and her beautiful daughter.  Then her world comes crashing down around her. Her beautiful daughter becomes desperately ill and her husband has an affair. Then to make matters worse her car skids off the road and she plunges into a lake. Who would have thought that enlightenment would come at such a time? Sophie is launched into a journey that will forever change her life.

The Color of Heaven is a very emotional read. When Sophie cried, I cried. When Sophie smiled, I smiled. I couldn’t stop reading it. From the beginning there were questions that needed to be answered. This is a story about love, grief, disappointment, hope, faith and happiness. Some may call it depressing. I call it living. Julianne’s story-telling is great. I highly recommend this read

The ShiftersThe Shifters by Alexandra Sokoloff

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Back of the Book

Charged with overseeing the shapeshifters of New Orleans, Caitlin MacDonald has her reasons for being wary of their kind. So when charismatic bounty-hunting shifter Ryder Malloy blows into town claiming to be on the trail of a horde of malevolent entities called Walk-Ins, Caitlin has no reason to trust him—with her city or her heart. But as tourists start dropping dead from supernatural possession, Cait must team with Ryder to navigate his shadowy, ephemeral world…

Fiercely independent, Ryder usually hunts alone—but this case requires an exception. To prevent a supernatural massacre, he needs the beautiful Keeper on his side—and, if possible, even closer. In his world, appearances can be deceiving and deadly. And the only way they'll survive is if this woman who tempts him like no other trusts in him completely….

My Thoughts:

This is the 2nd book of The Keepers series. Alexandra Sokoloff does an execellent job of picking up and/or carrying the story line from the first book, The Keepers. I love the way things start out between the hero and heroine and then escalate along the way. I was not disappointed with this book. If you like fast paced, edge of your seat, paranormal romance, this is a book for you.

The KeepersThe Keepers by Heather Graham

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Heather Graham introduces the thrilling world of the MacDonald sisters. Born into a legacy, they balance the fate of the world and the passion that might force them to risk it all . . .

The KeepersAt the core of New Orleans lie the otherworldly vampires and shape-shifters that hide in plain sight among mankind. As one of the Keepers, an elite group possessing superior skill and strength, Fiona MacDonald's duty is to maintain peace in a place where one vampire's bite could ignite war. When Detective Jagger DeFarge, a vampire, is called in at the discovery of a body drained of blood, both the detective and Fiona must join uneasy forces.

Jagger will stop at nothing to find the murderer—including working with the sensual and suspicious Fiona. As more die, it becomes clear that this isn't the work of an ordinary vampire. No one is safe. So when the killer's attention turns to Fiona, will Jagger risk destroying his own species to protect the woman he so passionately desires?

The Keepers: Three extraordinary sisters, balancing the duties of their birthrights

and the yearnings of their hearts. . .

My Thoughts:

I loved this book. This is the first book of a trilogy called The Keepers. Each book is written by a different author. Alexandra Sokoloff - The Shifters and Deborah LaBlanc- The Wolven.

The Keepers was a fast paced ebook. I had a very hard time leaving my computer. I don't know much about New Orleans, but from what I have seen and heard, Heather did an excellent job of describing the area. This is a series I can read over and over.

And when the investigating officer turns out to be her partner’s identical twin, a man she knew nothing about, her life becomes a Charade of Hearts.
Welcome to the world of greed, intrigue, deception and murder. And at its core is a blue diamond worth millions.
As honest as his twin was corrupt, Honolulu Homicide Detective Oliver Carvalho must convince Dominique that her diving partner and best friend was a crook. In a race against time, Oliver must rescue Dominique from a ruthless killer. But his biggest challenge proves to be mending a broken heart torn by betrayal that can only be redeemed by love.

My thoughts:
Romance in Hawaii, what more could a woman want? How about some mystery and suspense too?  You get this and more in Ms Donovan’s Charade of Heart’s, where the hero and heroine won’t disappoint you. This was a fast paced read that kept me turning page after page. This is a must read for anyone who loves romantic suspense.
